Job Description :

Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director / supervisor, the Reception Desk Attendant is responsible for the following :

• Greet everyone coming in
• Issue visitor badge for exceptions
• Reception Desk will check for Approved Visitors on the Epic House Census.
• Verify and Communicate with floor before sending a visitor
• Call the unit to inform them a visitor is on the way, for what room and why.
• Remind them to check their Patient FYI Flag for details.
• Provide instructions to the visitors, and provide them with the appropriate flier if this is their first visit.
• Escort as needed
• Deliveries as needed

Work with Security to clear or not clear someone outside requesting an exception.

Experience :

Experience in hospitality front end operations is preferred

Education :

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.

Assigned Work Hours :

Per diem, varied days and shifts as needed. No set guaranteed hours in a two week pay period. This is not a full or part time position.
